We had a new experience celebrating the 4th this year. We are usually at a lake somewhere-no where near a parade.
This year we were invited to Bear Lake by our dear friends. It has been sixteen years since we have been there.
We decided to go to the tiny little town of Paris, Idaho to celebrate at their towns annual parade.
Old guys on tractors-some restored some not. Little kids on trucks. Young guys showing off their hot rod cars(which were very cool--I took this picture for you Gerad!).
Funny folks with hot rod golf carts!Tons of candy for the kids, horses and lots of red, white and blue.
We had to top our parade off with a traditional Bear Lake Fresh Raspberry milkshake from the malt shoppe.
I hope that it isn't another sixteen years before we get back!
